Graph Knowledge
backend/graph-knowledge/ (Express + SQLite, port 3004) maintains the concept graph that
makes adaptive learning prerequisite-aware.
Endpoints
| Method | Path | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
GET | /concepts/:name/related | Traverse related concepts |
GET | /learning-path | Compute an ordered path toward a target concept |
POST | /relationships | Add concept relationships |
POST | /import/dlp | Import Digital Learner Profile data |
GET | /users/:userId/concepts | A user’s concept mastery snapshot |
GET | /health · /stats | Probes and counters |
How it’s used
- Course generation registers the concepts a course covers and their prerequisite edges
- Knowledge tracing queries the graph to detect
prerequisite-gaprecommendations — don’t drill integrals before derivatives - Learning paths give the Course View an ordered route through material toward a goal concept
The client-side mirror lives in src/lib/graph-knowledge.ts (with the useGraphKnowledge
hook), and data persists in backend/graph-knowledge/data/graph.db.
